Hello hello! I have returned from the void once again to give you all a small update on the progress for part two!

I will admit I haven't really worked on it much the past couple of months, but I've been doing a little bit here and there when I have the time/mental capacity to think long enough to get something done. 

The sprite for the new character is COMPLETE and I am very very happy with how she turned out. I haven't done an official reveal of her yet, just a little teaser on discord and the official teaser for her on tumblr (which is something else I will touch on in this post but at the end) and I'll post it here:

So aside from getting her ready to be put in the game, I'm also now at 9k words for the actual script and it's like half coded, the script part is in there but I have to do the visual side still (adding in the sprites and doing the bgs and stuff). But I'm on the last leg of the investigation portion that I mentioned in the the last devlog so that's really exciting bc that means that I'll be moving on to the part where you will actually start interacting with the new king. Stoked for that tbh.

And that's really all that's been done so far. Small steps, but steps nonetheless.

Anyway, about tumblr. I recently decided to take an indefinite hiatus from twitter for a multitude of reasons, so I won't be updating that for a while, if I ever decide to get back on there. SO if you're looking for a social to follow for updates, that'd be my tumblr. Or you can join the discord I have set up for this to get updates I don't post on tumblr. Either way, I'll leave some links down at the bottom for both of those.

I'm going to be taking a break from everything to take a trip over the weekend so hopefully after that's done, I'll have had some good rest and come back home reinvigorated and able to make some good headway on this script.
